Getting the right quilt for your hammock should not be difficult. We are here to help you decide which quilt will fit your hammock perfectly. Hammocks fall under two basic designs, Gathered End or Bridge. We build quilts to fit both styles and nearly every brand of hammock common in the market.
We source our fabrics, insulations and parts for all of our gear from manufacturers here in the USA and every single piece is sewn in our shop in South West Idaho.
Gathered End Hammocks
Gathered End Hammocks are the most common style of hammock. They are essentially a sheet of fabric 9-12 foot long gathered together and suspended by a single point at each end. We offer several quilt choices to work with Gathered End Hammocks.
The Jarbidge is a 3/4 length quilt that works with a foot pad that can also be used to sit on around camp. This combo of Partial length quilt and foot pad save pack volume and weight while adding multi-use functionality to the sit/foot pad.
The New River comes in three sizes to provide full-length coverage for all users, matched to your height. Room to stretch out with only a single item, the quilt, to keep track of.
The Potomac is shaped to be fitted for Hennessy Hammocks. It matches all models from Hennessy with full coverage. The Potomac has loops that match up to the Hennessy tie outs and full perimeter shock cord to customize the fit.
The Custom KAQ Underquilt gives the experienced person the chance to have a custom sized underquilt built for them. Pick the length, width, fabrics, insulation level and more to your specs.
Bridge Hammocks are built to suspend similarly to a Suspension Bridge. They generally have a Spreader bar at each end that holds the hammock body in a constant position. This gives you a lay flat sleep position. Fitting a quilt to Bridge Hammocks can be very easy.
Bridge Hammocks like the Jacks R Better Bear Mountain, Lawson Blue Ridge, and other similar hammocks work best with the Jarbidge Under Quilt and a foot/sit pad.
Warbonnet Ridge Runner Bridge Hammock
The Warbonnet Ridge Runner Hammock is our favorite design of Bridge Hammock. It's one of the most comfortable bridge hammocks on the market and features a number of innovative designs that make it unique. We have built a Partial length (Ridge Creek) and Full Length (XL) quilt to fit the Ridge Runner Hammock specifically...and they are made to be a glove fit.
The Ridge Creek is a 3/4 length underquilt, fitting from the back of the neck to mid-calf on most users. Incorporate a foot pad that can double as a sit pad around camp and you have a multi-use kit. The Ridge Creek can be vented via adjustable cords in warm weather.
The Ridge Creek XL is a full length quilt built to fit from end to end on the Ridge Runner Hammock. It has integrated tensioning which keeps the XL constantly and securely fitted on the hammock and attaches with a micro carabiner at the corners of the hammock....zero fiddle set up.
Top Quilts serve as a replacement to a sleeping bag in a hammock. Just like pulling the covers on at home a Top Quilt eliminates the struggle of getting into a bag and then into your hammock. And with no zipper to fight, you can hop in and out of your hammock as needed throughout the night.
The Owyhee features a cinch end and velcro/snap closure at the bottom. This allows the Owyhee to be opened up flat or partially opened to vent on warm nights.
The White Cloud is built with a fully insulated foot box. Providing greater warmth retention around the feet and no cords/velcro to adjust.
The Alpine Blanket can be utilized as a warm weather multi use quilt. Made with our 1 season (summer) insulation the Alpine Blanket can serve as a top quilt for summer conditions where you want a warmer option than fleece. It's also at home in the Stadium for cooler night games under the lights.
