We started Arrowhead Equipment in the summer of 2009. Having worked in Backpacking retail shops, followed by a few months doing disaster relief work after Hurricane Katrina. Followed by residential construction management. But when the housing market crashed we needed something else to support our family. We ventured full steam ahead into making our own line of hammock camping equipment. We started with a single item, the Cub pillow. Within a few weeks, we added the BBO Top Cover and had taken over the production of Kick Ass Quilts. We now offer over 200 products. Most of them are handmade in our shop in SW Idaho.
We have continued to add unique and innovative designs over the years. We work to improve the items that we produce. Both with regular field testing and feedback from customers. In the 15 years since we started Arrowhead Equipment, we have filled well over 70,000 orders. Helping thousands of customers and their families enjoy hammock camping as much as we do.

Arrowhead Equipment is a true Cottage business. Most of our products are produced in our shop, driven daily to the post office on the way to pick up our kids from school. We work hard to produce high-quality gear that you will enjoy and hopefully, will improve your camping experience. We make your gear to order. We cut the fabric, sew the seams, run the cord through the stuff sacks, tape the box, and hand it to the person behind the counter at the post office. Every piece of gear is made with care and attention to detail. We currently have our crew ready to make each order and fill them all one by one.
Sometimes it takes us some time to ensure that you're getting the best gear we can produce. But we do it because we love quality gear for the outdoors as much as you do. Thank you for shopping with us. Your business is greatly appreciated.
