Relax in the AirWave Hammock Chair
Some gear is all about saving weight. Other gear is all about comfort. The AirWave Hammock Chair lets you have both. The first thing you’ll notice isn’t the weight or the packed size. It’s the fabric. Unlike traditional hammock fabrics that can feel slick or plastic against your skin, AirWave Ripstop Nylon has an incredibly soft feel that’s surprisingly close to cotton while still delivering all the advantages of premium nylon. It is lightweight, quick drying, breathable, and remarkably strong, creating what may be the most comfortable hammock chair we’ve ever built. The AirWave fabric also has a firm feel with very little stretch, giving you better support while you relax. Whether you’re taking a break on the trail, relaxing around camp, watching the kids at a ball game, or spending an evening beside the fire, the AirWave Hammock Chair gives you a comfortable place to put your feet up almost anywhere you can find two trees. Rated to 375 pounds and weighing just 12.33 oz complete with suspension and stuff sack, it packs down to about the size of a softball. You’ll hardly notice it in your pack until it’s time to sit down, then you’ll wonder how you ever camped without it. Why You’ll Love the AirWave Hammock Chair AirWave fabric really is different. There are plenty of lightweight hammock chairs on the market. Very few use a fabric like this. AirWave uses Air Textured Yarn technology to create a fabric that feels noticeably softer than traditional ripstop nylon while maintaining excellent strength and durability. The breathable weave allows air to move through the fabric, helping keep you cooler during warm weather, while the minimal stretch provides a supportive seat that doesn’t leave you feeling like you’re sinking into it. Packs incredibly small. At approximately 12.33 ounces including the suspension and stuff sack, the AirWave Hammock Chair easily fits into a daypack, backpack, kayak hatch, truck, camper, or travel bag. It takes up about the same space as a softball, making it easy to bring along even when space is limited. More than just a chair. The AirWave isn’t limited to being a camp chair. Many customers also use it as a lightweight gear hammock to keep packs off the ground, a gear loft around camp, or even a comfortable sling for their trail dog. Key Features
