I have been a gear junkie for over 20 years and in that time I have purchased gear from just about every major brand out there. One of the most common accessories with any gear is the stuff sack, but it's also one of the most overlooked in build quality.
When we stated AHE we wanted to be sure that every part of our gear was the best quality that we could make it. That includes our stuff sacks. Whether you're getting one with a piece of gear or ordering on here you will get the best quality stuff sack that we can make. To begin we start off with 1.6 oz HyperD PU4000. Then we use only wrought resistant polyester thread. We hem the edges and then roll hem (just like our tarp ridge-lines) the center seam. This makes for a very strong edge. Then we square the bottom to give the stuff sack added strength and structure. To finish them out we use high-quality drawcord and cord locks.
