Every company has to start somewhere.
For us, it started with a pillow.
Back in 2009, after countless nights spent hammock camping, we kept running into the same problem. Regular backpacking pillows slid away in the middle of the night, inflatable pillows felt like balloons under our heads, and stuffing extra clothes into a stuff sack just wasn’t very comfortable.
So we built our own.
The Cub Pillow became the very first product ever made by Arrowhead Equipment, and over the years it has traveled on thousands of adventures with campers, backpackers, paddlers, hunters, and travelers all over the world. More than fifteen years later, it is still one of our favorite pieces of gear because it solves a simple problem exceptionally well.
