The Whoopie Sling is an adjustable suspension line that can replace heavier and bulkier stock suspensions on your hammocks. Our Whoopie sling comes with a fixed eye that can be larks headed on to your hammocks whipping bundle or girth hitched through a sewn channel. We start with 14' of 7/64 inch Amsteel to make a whoopie sling with a great range of adjustability. And with a 12" bury they have superior holding power for even the biggest hammock user.
Don't forget to order a set of Tree Straps to protect the tree and your Slings

Dynaglide Adjustable Ridge Line

Made from extremely light and strong 1.8mm Dynaglide the Adjustable Ridge Line functions much like a Whoopie Sling with a bury and a fixed eye. However the bury is repositioned to about mid line so that you can get maximum range without having to carry additional line. With a working adjustment from 90 out to 120 inches and only weighs 9 grams. Designed specifically for ridge line use you can adjust the sag of your hammock in seconds and very the adjustment until you find the perfect position.

Some hammocks just don't come with a good suspension system. And
after lots of use some just wear out. So if you are looking to change
out to the lightest option available, choose a Rope suspension. We are
building a knot based suspension with a 10 foot long amsteel line with a
6" fixed eye splice on one end. Simply remove your old suspension and
either larks head onto the whipping bundle or girth hitch through the
sewn channel, depending on your hammock model.
These Suspension lines are sold as singles, so that you can select different colors for each end should you like. And be sure to add a pair of tree straps to your order to protect the trees!

Aluminum Toggles : Pair

The Chain Link - Individual
The Chain Link is the easiest and safest way to attach your cinch buckles to your hammock. Knots can derate the strength of amsteel by 50% or more. And the very slippery nature of amsteel means that knots can fail. The safest and most secure option is a spliced loop. The Chain Link is just that a continuous loop of amsteel with no knots. 10" long and formed into a continuous loop of super strong amsteel that weighs in at only 6 grams. These are the perfect compliment to our Cinch Buckles and webbing suspension systems. Tested to over 560 pounds!
Chain links are sold as singles so that you can mix and match colors for each end of your hammock, be sure to order one for each end! To attach them to the buckle simply Girth Hitch the eye of the buckle - to attach the Chain Link to your hammock -- For Whipped End Hammocks-- form a larks head with the Chain Link below the whipping bungle. -- For End Channel Hammocks-- pass the remainder of the Chain Link through the channel until it emerges from the channel then pass the buckle though the loop and pull tight. Suspension Extension
Need a little more reach on your tree huggers to get around the big tree? Suspension Extensions give you a light weight solution to deal with the times when you need just a bit more, but don't always want to carry a longer set of tree huggers "just in case." Sold by the foot we make your extenders custom to the length you need. With a small 2 inch fixed eye on both ends the options for length are only as limited as your imagination.
Please note that the fixed eyes on the ends will shorten the length of the SE's by 1 foot--so if you order 6 foot extensions you will receive 5 foot finished length. Sold individually so that you can mix and match colors for different lengths. Minimum of 3 foot starting length.
Weight: Finished Length 3' = 5 grams 4' = 7 grams 7' = 13 grams

Whether or not you are needing a replacement pair or switching over to whoopie slings a new pair of Tree Straps hits the spot. They get covered in sap, frayed, snagged and beat up, so change them out with some new ones. Polyester straps with 2 inch eyes sewn in both ends and over 4" of professionally stitched bar tacks to hold it all together. Whether you are using the HH lashing, a marlin spike hitch or carabiner to attach your suspension lines these straps will protect the trees from damage. The black polyester webbing has been load tested to over 1000 pounds, and does not stretch like nylon or polypro.

Just like our tree straps, Suspension lines are made from high grade polyester webbing, but with a sewn in 2" eye on one end. Order the total number of feet you want and I will add the eyes and split the order into two equal length straps. The black polyester webbing has been load tested to over 1000 pounds, and does not stretch like nylon or polypro.

Are you worried about getting tree sap all over your hammock, quilts, pack and other gear? The Sap Sack can help. Made from Hi-Vis fabrics with reflective tabs so that you can find it when you need it. The sap sack features no snag velcro so it won't grab your straps and sil nylon so sap won't stick to the Sap Sack. Large enough to easily fit 2-15' straps with room to spare. Should your tree straps get sticky with sap just store them in the sap sack until the sap dries or you can clean them. No need to worry about your nice quilts and hammock getting all covered in sap.
